5 Beats of Intelligence: AI Meets Computational Social Science

Topic: This seminar will present the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-based tools in simulating and analyzing online social communities such as X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit. The focus will be on extracting meaningful insights from these platforms, including sentiment analysis, hate speech and toxicity detection, and topic modeling. The session will highlight how AI can help uncover patterns in digital social behavior and contribute to a better understanding of online interactions.
