Topic: First talk would focus on how AI, computer vision, and HPC technologies are being applied to optimize agricultural processes, particularly in HPC driven development of AI/IOT solutions for precision farming. It would cover case studies involving computer vision and the creation of synthetic datasets to improve prediction models
Speaker: Ivan Jovovic
About speaker: Ivan Jovović is a PhD student, Teaching Assistant, and Research Associate at the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies, University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro. His research focuses on applying Artificial Intelligence, particularly Edge AI, Machine Learning, and High Performance Computing (HPC), to practical problems in agriculture and healthcare. Ivan has actively contributed to multiple national and European research projects, including H2020 DEMETER, EuroCC, FishEUTrust, and HPC4S3ME. He holds a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Donja Gorica and has extensive experience as an IoT and AI Developer, as well as a Web Developer. Ivan has published several papers in recognized international conferences and journals, exploring topics such as Edge Computing, IoT, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning applications.
