EuroCC 3: National Competence Centres in the framework of EuroHPC<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

EuroCC 3 strengthens the European network of National Competence Centres (NCCs)<\/strong><\/a> for High-Performance Computing (HPC), supporting the delivery of high-quality services across all participating countries. Building on the achievements of previous phases, EuroCC 3 focuses on consolidating and further enhancing the network by accelerating the uptake of HPC in Europe. In parallel, three new NCCs will be established, expanding the network and strengthening HPC capacity in additional countries.<\/p>

Each NCC is officially mandated by its national authority to act as the national one-stop shop for HPC expertise, services, and training. Together, the NCCs identify and strengthen national competences in HPC and related technologies, foster collaboration across Europe, and facilitate access to national and European HPC resources.<\/p>

The network serves a broad range of stakeholders – including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large industry, academia, research organisations, and public administrations – by providing training, consulting, technical support, and guidance on the effective adoption and use of HPC. Where appropriate and in coordination with national AI Factory structures, NCCs also support users whose applications combine HPC and artificial intelligence technologies.<\/p>

Working in close collaboration with the Coordination and Support Action CASTIEL 3, EuroCC 3 promotes coordinated network development, knowledge exchange, and a coherent European presence through the HPC in Europe portal and the HPC Service Hub. By advancing digital skills, supporting innovation, and strengthening Europe\u2019s competitiveness, EuroCC 3 directly contributes to the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking\u2019s \u201cWidening Usage and Skills<\/em>\u201d pillar and to Europe\u2019s broader digital transformation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Who is on board?<\/strong><\/p>

EuroCC 3 brings together 36 National Competence Centres from EU Member States and Associated Countries and is coordinated by the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), Germany.<\/p>
